pamela1108 @ 07:52 pm: Franklin College
Hi Franklin College students--I have a question regarding admissions. My daughter is hoping to be admitted to Franklin in 2009--how difficult is it to get admitted? We visited the campus last month and just loved the school.

Her overall GPA is a 3.7, her ACT score is a 26. She will be retaking the ACT in June.

What were your experiences or what do you know about admittance?

Thanks!

clay_cakes @ 08:02 pm: Thought that I'd share ... I've been accepted to Franklin! (I found out Dec 19). Im absolutely thrilled of course! I was also lucky enough to meet with Dr. Nielsen, the college president, last week as he was in my area. He's a fascinating man and told me lots of stories about cool things freshmen do. If anyone wants to talk about this, feel free to email me at libretie@hotmail.com or IM me at AIM, my screename is Libretie.

I am now a Junior in High School and am really bad academically and hoping that people might be able to tell me how to go about bettering myself to the Franklin Standard...please, I've been wanting this for a long time....

Wow! I was doing a random interest search with Franklin College and instead I found an entire community! Thats so amazing ... I'm a high school senior in South Florida and Franklin is also my first choice. I visited the campus in July and I was just amazed with it! I'm hoping to major in International Relations and minor in French.

Hey!
I'm a high school junior this year, and I know the community info said that it is for alumni and students, but I was hoping to be an exception. I know that Franklin is my first choice for collge, it's pretty much my only choice. So I'm hoping that anyone in the community could write back a little, tell me about the campus, send me pictures, etc. I look at the website pretty frequently, but they dont have too much in the photo department. If you could write back and tell me anything (or everything) about the college, oh man, I would be so psyced.
Thanks!!!

hey_stranger @ 05:42 pm: I'm glad I found this place -- I was thinking about applying to Franklin College (possibly attending next fall). What got me interested was the college's international relations program, which is my intended major. However, I don't know much about the city/region, and I'm also very curious about its languages programs. So, ladies and gents, please enlighten me with your knowledge and advice!

Many thanks in advance.
Cheers.

natewillsheets @ 07:55 pm: Hey Everyone...
Welcome to the community! If you don't already know me, my name is Nathan Sheets, and I am a freshman at Franklin. Apparently quite a few people at Franklin have LiveJournals, so I thought it would be cool for us to have a community.

How is everyone doing so far? Do you like your dorms? Do you have internet access in your rooms? Which classes did you sign up for? I hope everyone is doing great!
